Nostr + Lightning Search on Kollider Wallet

Today we're excited to announce a brand new feature we've added into Kollider Wallet. Nostr + Lightning Search is a unique new way to find and pay Lightning Network users.

Nostr + Lightning Search allows you to easily search for and pay Lightning Network users directly within the app. Now you can quickly find other users on the network and pay them without having to remember or copy and paste their Lightning Address.

The best part of this feature is that it searches users across two domains– Lightning Addresses and Nostr. Lightning Address search allows you to find users based on human-readable account names tied to their Lightning Wallet. The integration of Nostr, however, allows for even more information. You can search for users on the network, see whether they're NIP-05 verified, read their bio, and ensure better guarantees that you're paying the right user. The search will even populate their Nostr public key so that you can easily contact them via your favorite Nostr client.

The Lightning Network transforms the way we make payments online, but finding other users on the network can be challenging. Lightning + Nostr Search makes it easy to find other users on the network and verify their Lightning Address and identity. All integrated directly into the wallet.

One of the reasons we're so excited about this feature is that it's more than just a search function– it builds a social layer into the wallet product, allowing you to build a network of contacts on Lightning Network and Nostr.

We've spoken extensively about the synthesis of these two open networks, and we're continuing to build products and tools for both.
